“Well I Never Knew That!”
The first five books in the WINKT! series, designed by ODI, have hit the bookshops. Published by Pathfinder Partners Ltd, they tell the stories behind fascinating facts of history and explain the origins of the everyday phrases we use. The Author, Peter Ryding, is a self-confessed word addict and it's appropriate that it is here in Oxford that we have been able to help produce these valuable additions to the history of our unique language.
